Welcome back to my blog my crafty friends!
I love to create handmade accessories, and especially anything that can be also useful and functional.
We all know that there's nothing like having too many purses, clutches or pouches, right? That is why I'm sure you're going to love today's project!
I designed for you a very simple and easy to make pouch, embellished with beautiful diamond granny squares!
I use the pouch as a crochet hooks case, but it could work perfectly as small makeup bag, or pencil case to keep in your everyday purse!
The Diamond Pouch is worked in 5 separate pieces: one Pouch, and 4 Diamond Granny squares that are later sewn on the Pouch itself.
The Diamond Pouch is made with Wool Ease® yarn by LION BRAND YARN!
Warm and soft, this wool yarn is gorgeous. It comes in more than 30 different colors to choose from!

Using yarn tails still attached to pieces whenever possible, assemble Diamond Pouch as follows:
Sew Diamond Granny Squares into 2 strips of 2 Squares each.
Sew one strip of Granny Squares to front of Pouch and one strip to Back.
With sewing needle and mustard color thread, sew snaps to inside top edges of Pouch, about 18 sts apart.

Like link their knives, the Heritage feels link like a thoughtful and considered tool that is meant to work for you while asking little in return. It’s nicely made, not wildly expensive, comes in plenty link of versions, and offers flexibility and practicality in spades. It’s the same formula as their knives and I think it works for the Heritage, as well.
