Happy Tuesday my fellow crafters!

Here I am with a new super cute crochet project for your little one - an Elephant Teething Ring.

This velvety fiber yarn is incredibly soft and comes in a variety of pastel colors, perfect for baby's projects!

For all those confused, I have worked out how to attach the trunk! To attach the trunk, you need to make the first trunk stitch into stitch 14 of only the trunk (assuming you inverted your trunk to have the right side out). Continue sc into both the trunk and head to join them, with the last joining stitch being into stitch 5 of the trunk and stitch 38 of the head. Make an additional sc into only head stitch 38 (meaning there are a total of 2sc in stitch 38) then continue the round to make 56 stitches. For the next round, after the first…

I think this pattern is missing some insructions especially in terms of how the trunk attaches to the head. Also all 54 stitches in Row 8 are not accounted for in Row 9 so it's hard to know what to do.

I'm having a really hard time with the trunk. This pattern is precious, and I really want to make this for my friend whose nursery is safari themed. Does the paid pattern have a more in-depth description so I can make it look like yours?
