Last week, we brought her charming little face and body to life, and now it’s time to add some personality and style. Today, we’ll focus on crafting her hair and adorable boots, two details that truly make her stand out.

With her hair, we’ll create super cute bang and braids . And her cozy boots? Perfect for keeping her warm on icy adventures!

Scheepjes SOFTFUN 10x50 g                      

    #2625 Sea Mist 1 ball (A)                         

    #2631 Cedar 1 ball (B)

    #2466 Peach 1 ball (C)

    #2601 Graphite 1 ball (D)

    #2633 Tawny 1 ball (E)

    #2622 Latte 1 ball (F)


MATERIALS               

Crochet Hooks: 3.5 mm

Yarn Needle

Polyester Filling

Black embroidery thread

3 wooden beads



DIMENSIONS

Eskimo Girl 8 in. (20 cm) tall.

ch = chain

rep = repeat

rnd(s) = round(s)

sc = single crochet

hdc = half double crochet

sl st = slip stitch

24 sc + 24 rnds = about 4 in. (10 cm).

Hair

With D make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in ring.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around [16]

Rnd 3: Ch 1, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep around [24]

Rnd 4: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep around [32]

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in each st around [32]

Rnd 6: Ch 1, (sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep from * around [40]

Rnds 7 - 12: Ch 1, sc in each st around [40]

 

Fasten off and leave a long strand of yarn. Place the Hair on the Head and secure the last Rnd to it with the extra strand of yarn. 

 

To make 2 BRAIDS, cut 12 (6 for each braid) 14” long strings of yarn.

Fold your yarn in half so that there’s a U-shaped bend on one side and two ‘tails’ on the other side. Insert your hook into a st of the last Rnd of the Hair and catch the bend string. Pull the bend through the loop; pull the two ‘tails’ of the hair through the bend and the pull the tails; braid the strings and trim them at the desired length; secure the braid with A yarn.

 

Cut a long strand of D yarn and embroider the BANG.


Boots 

With E.

Rnd 1: Ch 5, 2 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in the next 2 chs, 7 hdc in the next ch; keep working on the other side of the foundation chain, 1 sc in next 2 chs, 2 sc in next ch [15]

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next 3 sts, 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st [20] 

Rnd 3: Ch 1, working in back loop only, sc in each st around [20]

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around [20]

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog, hdc2tog, hdc2tog, hdc2tog, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog [ 13]

Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in next 6 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 5 sts [12]

Rnds 7 - 8: Ch 1, sc in each st around [12]

Rnd 9: With F, ch 1, sc in each st around [12]

Rnd 10: Ch 1, (sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep twice [14]

Rnd 11: Ch 1, sc in each st around [14]. 

 

Fasten off and weave in ends. Fold down the white section of the Boot. 

Stuff the tip of the Boot. Embroider Boot’s strings with black thread.
