Imagination is a fundamental aspect of the amigurumi designing process.
But translating one image into an amigurumi is a bit magical, don't you agree?
I always picture my hook as a little wand I do magic with!
It usually takes me some time imagining a new design. I like to find inspiration anywhere, from pictures, illustrations or objects.
Then, once the idea is there it is time for sketching and trying out the pattern!
Only few amigurumis though come out the way I picture them in my mind.
...and this Pinky Bird is definitely one of them! How cute is that?
The simple and yet one of a kind shape, plus the soft and pastel shade of pink make this little bird an adorable stuffed friend for kids of all ages!
Here's the FREE pattern! Enjoy!

Dear Melissa, thank you for you kind message! Elisa
I'm not as creative - I love making crochet things - but to come up with a unique design - like this - you are very thoughtful - it's like a little hand turned on it's side. It's so cute, Thanks for sharing your ingenuity :)
