I've poured my love for crochet and food into this adorable and fun collection. Perfect for little chefs and imaginative play, each piece is carefully designed to look deliciously realistic with a fun twist thanks to the addition of adorable little eyes to each piece!

Lightweight (3) cotton yarn in:

Yellow (A)

White (B)

Pink (C)

MATERIALS

Crochet hook size C/2 (2.5 mm)

Plastic Safety Eyes (6 mm)

Black embroidery thread

Embroidery Needle

DIMENSIONS

Sunny Side Egg – about 4.5 x 4.5 in. (11.5 x 11.5 cm)

Rnds 6 - 8: Sc in each st around – 40 sc.

Rnd 9: With B, working in front loop only, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep around – 60 sc.

Rnd 10: 4 sc, 8 hdc, 12 sc, 8 hdc, 6 sc, 10 hdc, 12 sc – 60 sc.

Rnd 11: 4 sc, 1 hdc, 1 hdc inc, 5 hdc, 1 hdc inc, 5 sc, 1 sc inc, 5 sc, 1 sc inc, 5 hdc, 1 hdc inc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, 1 sc inc, 2 sc, 3 hdc, 1 hdc inc, 5 hdc, 1 hdc inc, (5 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice – 70 sts.

Insert plastic safety eyes between Rnds 4 and 5.

Embroider Mouth and Eyebrows with black thread.

Place the lower side below the upper one, aligning the pieces (be aware that the WSs of both pieces must facing each other).

Sc around through both layers. Do not stuff the egg.

Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in ends.
