Totoro Hat Free Crochet Pattern

Updated: Oct 19, 2019

Totoro is a Japanese character from one of Miyazaki's most beloved and celebrated movies..."My Neighbor Totoro". A nostalgic story about childhood innocence, friendship, and magic!

"Everything will work out in the end!"

Totoro, adorable and fuzzy creature, is a spirit of the wild forest. He has a big friendly smile, brings fun and most of all comfort.

Totoro has become an iconic character

by teaching us the importance of laughing at our fears and the value of imagination and nature in our everyday lives.

The movie first came out more than 25 years ago, and Totoro continues to be one of the most beloved characters among children and adults.

Today I want to share with you, my fellow crocheters, the crochet pattern of the Totoro Hat I designed few years ago.

My daughter's favorite movie growing up was Totoro. I wish this was in adult size, but it'll have to do for my 3 year old :) It's watched monthly in my house, if not more!
